As soon as you make mistakes, or you have an off year, even if it's not your fault as a quarterback... I've always said the quarterback and the head coach always get too much blame when you lose and too much credit when you win.

You make your first album, you make some money, and you feel like you still have to show face, like 'I still go to the projects.' I'm like, why? Your job is to inspire people from your neighborhood to get out. You grew up there. What makes you think it's so cool?

What I look for when I see a piece of art for the first time is some kind of emotional, intellectual experience, that's a combination of both of those things and is informed by my knowledge and something new that I see the artist doing.
